Chore-Time’s Concrete Slatted Flooring can help hog producers put their hogs on solid, durable footing. Designed to help producers keep their hogs dry and clean, these precast concrete slat floors also feature Chore-Time’s legendary quality, durability and innovation.

These concrete floor sections are engineered and manufactured to Chore-Time’s specifications utilizing modern state-of-the-art technology. The result is a high quality concrete product that is pig-friendly while also resistant to the detrimental long-term effects of animal waste.

Product Features and Advantages

  • Precast concrete slatted floor section measures 4 feet by 10 feet by 4 inches (1.2 m by 3 m by 102 mm) thick with one-inch (25-mm) slat openings.

  • Slat floors sections are produced in a National Precast Concrete Association-certified manufacturing plant with strength certified to a minimum standard of 4,000 pounds per square inch.

  • Pencil-edged slat is less abrasive for hogs.

  • Concrete is reinforced with #3 and #4 steel rebar.

  • Producers can choose between 8-inch x 8-inch x 10-foot long (203-mm x 203-mm x 3 m) or 8-inch x 10-inch x 12-foot long (203-mm x 254-mm x 3.6 m) concrete support beams.

  • Available with broom- or smooth-finish surface to match producer preference.

  • Helps to quickly separate hogs from their waste and improve sanitation.

  • Aids disease control.

  • Reduces the labor required for cleaning.
