Farrowing stall design also helps to provide baby pigs with more space and easy sow access for nursing.
Specially-shaped finger bars at the side of the stall help to protect and preserve baby pigs.
Farrowing stall is designed to make it easy for sows to enter and leave.
System can be used for conventional or diagonal stall configurations. Diagonal systems offer up to 27% more stalls per fixed space and higher space utility for sows and their litters.
Systems can also be used to retrofit existing sow farrowing facilities with gains of up to 20% more farrowing stalls per building.
Stall design makes it easy to reach and care for sows.
Stalls feature 8 adjustments in length and 4 adjustments in width for sow comfort.
