The Chore-Time Hog Management System is simple and consists of a weigh scale connected to a computerized controller. As a hog walks to the barn’s eating area, it enters the weighing scale where the controller reads the hog’s weight. After determining the animal’s weight, the controller automatically sorts hogs by opening a front door on the scale for the hog to exit either to the right or to the left according to the hog’s weight.
