CTB, Inc. Signs Agreement to Acquire Dutch Designer and Marketer of Air Scrubbing Systems

Uniqfill International B.V.

MILFORD, Ind., December 10, 2007 – CTB, Inc. today announced that it has signed a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Uniqfill International B.V. (www.uniqfill.nl). Located in Meijel in the Netherlands, Uniqfill is a designer and marketer of chemical and combination chemical/biological air scrubbers for animal livestock and other applications. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Air scrubbers are used to remove ammonia, undesirable odors and particulate matter from the air before it exits a pig house, poultry house or other type of facility. Uniqfill’s air scrubbers are certified for use in both the Netherlands and in Germany, and have also been sold in other countries.

“Uniqfill’s products provide an effective solution to improving air emissions from agricultural and other applications,” according to Victor A. Mancinelli, CTB president and chief executive officer. “Uniqfill is well-positioned in markets that recognize the value of this important technology and will help us to lead in serving our customers through this expanded technology and expertise.” Uniqfill Managing Director Patrick Sanders added, “We are very pleased to be better positioned to meet the rapidly growing demand for our products through the capitalization and infrastructure CTB can provide us, as well as through access to additional distribution channels in key animal agriculture production areas.”

CTB intends to leverage both Uniqfill’s and its own existing sales and distribution channels to meet the increasing demand for air scrubbers in Europe as well as in other regions of the world. Co-owners Patrick Sanders (who founded the company in 1995) and Winfried Sanders will remain with Uniqfill in their current management roles.
