DeSmith Promoted to Vice President of Global Taxation for CTB

Ryan DeSmith, Vice President of Global Taxation for CTB

MILFORD, Indiana, U.S.A. — Ryan DeSmith has been promoted to Vice President of Global Taxation for CTB, Inc., according to Marc Plastow, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the company. In his new position, DeSmith’s primary responsibility is overseeing the tax compliance and planning processes for the CTB family of companies.

A CTB employee since 2017, DeSmith held the positions of Tax Senior and Tax Manager before being promoted to Senior Manager of Global Tax and Shared Services in 2019. He has previous experience in tax controversy, compliance, and planning.

DeSmith has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is a native of Granger, Indiana, and currently resides in Mishawaka, Indiana.
