Ryan DeSmith, Vice President of Global Taxation – CTB, Inc.
Ryan DeSmith is Vice President of Global Taxation for CTB, Inc. He joined the company in 2017.
DeSmith oversees the tax compliance and planning processes for the CTB family of companies. His responsibilities also include administration of some employee benefit plans.
DeSmith first joined CTB as Tax Senior. He was eventually promoted to Tax Manager and then Senior Manager of Global Tax and Shared Services. He has previous experience in tax controversy, compliance, and planning.
In his spare time, DeSmith volunteers as the treasurer for the Mishawaka (Indiana) Food Pantry. He also enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
A graduate of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, DeSmith has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
